Edavaka Mission

"Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation"

— Mark 16:15

About Edavaka Mission

The "Edavaka Mission" is a vital part of the Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelists Association (M.T.V.E.A), which focuses on activities within the parish. Its main goal is to ensure that every member of the church becomes a missionary, sharing the joy and certainty of salvation.

The Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelists' Association, established in 1924, holds an official position within the Mar Thoma Church. This association operates with a comprehensive seven-point program, including intercession, Bible study, sharing personal spiritual experiences, visiting homes, and assisting the sick and needy.

The Edavaka Mission plays a crucial role in disseminating the gospel and spearheading mission endeavors within the parish. The efforts are concentrated on deepening believers' understanding of the Bible, exchanging spiritual experiences, and engaging in intercessory prayer.
